This “Shadow Work” is done by any sewing machine that has an embroidery unit. All brands included and formats.

The designs are just like any “Digitized Embroidery Designs” except the color threads are under the fabric. Your bobbin remains with white embroidery thread. HOW IS THIS DONE?  EASY......

1. The “base” of the design (or the colored part under the fabric) is done by stitching the first part of the color sequences onto just a single piece of water soluble stabilizer that has been tightly placed into your embroidery hoop (or, you can use several sheets if necessary depending of the type stabilizer you are using). I now am recommending Aqua Magic (found in most all Viking and Pfaff Dealer shops - there are others out there under different names that are just as good and similar - it feels like a piece of fabric.)
2. After you have finished stitching all the "base" colored sequences, the next step [according to your stitch-out sequence] is to place your fabric down. Yes, that is right, you never hoop your fabric. You rotate or shift your fabric on top of the hoop and place it down where you want the design to be stitched. To do this you apply double-stick scotch tape onto your hoop-ed stabilizer around the design/or spray adhesive to the back of your fabric. Place the fabric where you want it over the base design that's been stitched onto your hoop-ed stabilizer's. (you know and can see easily exactly where to place the design through the fabric!) Remember, your using fabric you can slightly see through to do this work, not a thick denim for example!
3. Now simply continue stitching your design. It will now stitch the outlines. You make your color changes as normal according to the stitch-out sequence you are following. When finished your design is done. Remove the fabric and stabilizer from the hoop. Then simply remove the stabilizer, as its water soluble! Your outline stitched have been digitized to be able to HOLD your colored stitched threads UNDER the fabric to shadow through to the top side of your fabric!

IT’S JUST THAT EASY!!! You never hoop your fabric. You never need center points. You have a gorgeous design that looks just as beautiful as hand-work and finished in mere minutes.

EVERY DESIGN CD has a book with it with complete instructions step-by-step. The color sequences are printed in the book under each design, which is pictured in full color, for you to follow. The CD has auto installation and you may choose your own format to install.
